This digital mural project for Dundas Public School was created to help clearly share the school’s vision and excellence plan in a way that’s engaging and easy for everyone in the school community to understand.
The mural is made up of two parts that were installed in different areas of the school office. While they work well on their own, they also join together as one continuous design and are used as a banner on the school’s website.
The illustrations show how the school is working towards its goals—supporting student growth and achievement, and building a strong learning culture. Scenes include students thinking creatively, working together, and learning in different ways, showing the school’s focus on academic excellence and future-ready skills.
The mural also highlights the school’s values of respect, responsibility and resilience, and shows the importance of partnerships between teachers, students, parents and caregivers in creating a strong and supportive school community.
The final illustrations were printed on aluminium panels and installed in the office. They were also used to refresh the school’s ‘Proud of You’ postcards and shared as digital files for use on learning materials and the school website.
