The first 2000 days of a child’s life has a significant impact on their development, future health and wellbeing. The Rotary Clubs of Corrimal, Dapto, Fairy Meadow and Kiama are working with NSW Health and other health agencies to develop a toolkit and deliver key messages under the First 2000 Days Framework to support families.
I was asked to create a collection of illustrations to represent different moments of a child’s life over these first 2000 days. Illustrations focused on pregnancy, learning and physical development, healthy eating, emotional wellbeing and starting school.

Students and staff at Berala Public School spent time determining what dispositions the students need to be successful learners. It was my job to come in and turn those dispositions into relatable characters that the students could connect with to make learning fun and engaging.
